Graduated in Economics at the University of Salerno, he obtained an MBA Master’s degree at the SDOA, and was a professor of Strategies at the Geopolitics and International Relations Study Center in collaboration with the Sapienza University of Rome.
In 2000 he was in the working team for the privatization of Autostrade S.p.A. into the Planning and Control Department.
In the period 2001-2002 he joined Datamat S.p.A. within the Strategic Planning and Management Control team during the stock market listing process. From 2003 until 2006 he was Director of the Research and Strategy Office of Lutech S.p.A.
From 2007 until December 2014, he was company manager and managing director for Progesi Gruppo BV
Tech.
From 2015 to 2017 he was Executive Vice President of Roma Gas &Power S.p.A. and Advisor of Integrated Services for Energy Companies (SINTES.r.l.).
From September 2017 to December 2019, he was President of Tech Rain S.p.A. In 2014 he was appointed Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano. He currently holds the position of Member of the Board for Aspen Institute Italy. He is one of the authors of the volume “Intelligence and national interest” edited by Umberto Gori and Luigi Martino, published by Aracne in collaboration with the Italian Society of Political Science (SISP).
Since September 2017 he has been CEO of Defense Tech Holding S.p.A. The Group operates in Electronic Systems for Defence, Space and Cyber Security. On 7 June 2018, by decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, the Group was deemed strategic for Defense and National Security.
Defence Tech Group now is made up of approximately 350 specialized engineers and technicians.
